La Roma is an excellent deal if you happen to be in Geneseo and are looking for a quick lunch. Their lunch buffet is only 5 dollars and includes salad, pasta and a variety of pizza. Most people are unlikely to find La Roma's because it is located in downtown Geneseo and thus relatively far off the Interstate (I-80) but this may change when the commuter rail line to Chicago becomes operational in 2015. I have always had good experiences here and can recommend the bacon pizza and submarine sandwich which are both very good and cheaper than the local Pizza Hut and Subway. Consider La Roma's if you are dining late and would like attentive service and a quick meal before catching a late movie at the Geneseo Theater or in town for the Christmas festivities and tours of the Victorian houses in incorporated Geneseo.
